FAQ about subscriptions

Can I disable auto-renewal?

If you are interested in subscribing this year, but are hesitant because of the auto-renewal, you can easily disable this. After you subscribe, go to your account settings and click on CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.  This will not cancel your current subscription, but it will prevent any future auto-renewals.  If you decide later that you want to auto-renew, you can click REACTIVATE to re-enable auto-renewals.

Will I have to pay for multiple subscriptions if I use PixelSquid on both PC and Mac?

No. Your subscription is tied to your PixelSquid account (which is different from your Creative Cloud account). As long as you sign in to the same account on both PC and Mac, you should be able to use a single subscription.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Yes, you may use PayPal when purchasing a subscription.

Will you be developing a plugin that is compatible with Photoshop CS6 and under?

The PixelSquid add-on uses features that are only available in CC 2014 and above. Since there would be a loss of functionality, we do not have any plans to port back to previous versions.

However, PixelSquid PSD files are fully compatible with Photoshop versions CS2 and up. So if you are using any of those versions, you should have no problems using the files themselves. If you are using an older version of Photoshop or using Photoshop Elements, we recommend downloading the PNG or JPEG files since Smart Objects were not introduced until CS2.

You can access the PSDs, PNGs, and JPEGs by going to the product page, selecting your angle, and downloading the format you need.

Can I use watermarked PixelSquid files for commercial projects?

No. The watermarked objects are intended for personal use only. You cannot use PixelSquid objects for published works, but you are free to use them for personal use while designing.
